Cable Able!

Well I believe I have *knocks on wood and sprays frog repellant* mastered basic cabling. The scarf is almost 2 feet long now (yay!). Here's a photo showing the cable pattern and color.

The Oasis Soysilk is turning out to be utterly fabulous for cables. It has a texture like silk but the cables really POP with no extra effort. I showed it to the owner of the shop I bought the yarn from, Yarnivore , and she said it looked very nice, especially for a first cable pattern effort. :) Here's a scan of the label in case anyone feels the need to try some of this marvellous yarn out. It's awesome!

What Kind of Knitter Are You?

You appear to be a Knitting Guru. You love knitting and do it all the time. While finishing a piece is the plan, you still love the process, and can't imagine a day going by without giving some time to your yarn. Packing for vacation involves leaving ample space for the stash and supplies. It can be hard to tell where the yarn ends and you begin.http://marniemaclean.com

What the FUG?!

Um... yea...

I've been on a blogging hiatus due to frog infestation. Everything I tried to knit for like the last 2 weeks died a horrible frogging death or turned out funky. I haven't had anything I wanted to brag about. Now though, *knocks on wood* I do have a gorgeous blue cabled scarf on the needles and it's going well. *knocks on wood again* I shall scan it as soon as I find the energy to leave my recliner. Hehehehe
