Knit Happens

Yep.... knit's about to happen. I found the bobbley purple and black stuff (yea the photo sucks) in a clearance bin and the chunky black acrylic stuff was a malwart find. I'm aiming to create something similar to the swamp witch shawl on The Anticraft. http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/samhain05/swampwitch.htm

I plan to cast on tonight or tommorow, meanwhile casting off all directions and pattern. Who knows what I'll end up with, but hey... with 3 balls of bobble yarn, 2 skeins of chunky black yarn, size 19 knitting needles, and a pot of tea I'm bound to end up with something interesting.
